An Intentional Arrival

The entrance to a home sets the tone for everything that follows. Designed as a moment of pause and arrival, this entrance and stairwell were thoughtfully curated to create a sense of warmth, wonder and connection from the very first step inside.

Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by Tui Madonnas, a striking resin artwork by Jimmy Kouratorus, alongside a subtle, personalised artisan mosaic tile floor with integrated underfloor heating. Suspended bird cages filled with living plants introduce a layer of nature and whimsy, while oversized fresco-waxed timber posts and French washed ceilings and walls celebrate the dramatic architectural form of the space.

A custom leather handrail with seamlessly integrated sensor lighting gently guides movement through the home, balancing practicality with a quiet sense of luxury.

Underfoot, light oak parquet flooring provides warmth and texture, establishing a timeless foundation that enhances the flow between spaces. Encasing the stairwell, bone French-washed walls, ceilings and doors create a calming backdrop, their subtle texture adding depth and softness throughout. Carefully considered bronzed brass accents introduce a touch of warmth and refinement.

French washed timber panelling within the hallway discreetly conceals a hidden linen cupboard, demonstrating the belief that beautiful homes should work effortlessly for the people who live in them.

Together, these layered elements create more than an entrance, they create an experience. A space that feels both timeless and deeply personal, offering a harmonious balance of artistry, functionality and intentional design.
