The louvred front door entrance shelter was added to enhance the home's presence and create a sense of balance, adding both functionality and architectural interest.
The entrance is now tiled in a combination of contrasting grey and black tones, with a louvred entrance shelter providing a dramatic presence to this now welcoming entrance.
Go black or go home... The louvred front door entrance, along with the entire house and roof, was painted black, skillfully concealing the roof's solar heating system. The vintage wooden propeller adds to the bold and cohesive aesthetic.
